Went to Pittsburgh as a digital tech back in May with the good people at AI Digital Imagination, Rue 21, Don Diaz photography and Production Works. Spent 10 days in Pittsburgh with cool people and great weather. Below are my iPhone photos of my trip.

DNEZ aka The Loch Nez Monster
Had a moment to catch up with the bro, the LOCHNEZMONSTA, D-N-E-Z, aka Dennis the Menace. We met up at his apartment in the city of Gardena, CA where he went to school growing up and currently does full time dad duties for his 2.5 year old daughter, Stone - grown man shit. Between work and family time, he still finds time to create and record music as both a solo artist and with his duo-cult-rap group Got Damage, which if you've been following at all, you know some really good and alternative hip hop music has been coming out of that camp. He's a bit of a DIY King as his diverse talents lead him to create on the production boards, the writing side, live performances, fashion styling and he also dabbles in video production which has given him a different calling card that people are pursuing him for. Overall, whether on the boards, writing and rapping on others' records, creating videos, fashion styling -- his growing credits list includes projects with Got Damage (of course), El Prez, Chris Focus, Sterling Victorian -- he's always lending his full artistic vision to a variety of projects and they are as diverse as it sounds.

As promised by the homie VerBs in his "Bananas" FB invite, there were beautiful girls and dudes (I guess), warm vegan food options for people with vegan super powers, hot girls from people's instragrams and tumblrs, some japanese rappers, white people (he wasn't sure if they'd show up), VerBs' friends, me, hot chicks, really cool black people, exactly 12 hot latinas, rapper bros, and fun....no Doja Cat though :(. Still a great night of underground music in a historic area known for hip hop, performance arts and raw Los Angeles culture - Leimert Park, CA.
Beat sets by Linafornia and local beat king Kenny Segal were featured in between live performances from a varied lineup as well as open mic time for those ready to test their skills in front of a PACKED house.
Apollo Soul absolutely made a great impression on the crowd from their opening song to their close-out jam sesh with VerBs adding some freestyle rhymes. Ill Camille had the home crowd on her side and came with the energy that filled the room. Nocando then put on a pretty epic set, his experience at the venue shined as his voice boomed and snarled over the P.A. for a memorable performance. Osaka live was definitely a stand out from his set.

Had a chance to hang out in Marina Del Rey at The Villanova art house and created some images with Virginia born musician/alt-model Jessi Groux. She's working on her solo music right now, currently recording and looking for management. I was able to get my good friends at The Highly Regarded to come by and add their fresh styling touches to all the looks we covered.

The triplets are now 10 months old. They joined My Gym in Pasadena for the month. We figured it would be a good idea to have them climb and run around in a bigger place than our tiny apartment. They seem to really enjoy it and it gets us all out of the house as a family often.
